Massingburge, Savanah

KILGORE - Services for Savanah Massingburge, 100, of Kilgore, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, 
September 29, 2007, at Mount Zion CME Church, with the Rev. Perfit Atkins officiating. 
Burial will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cunningham Funeral Home. 
Mrs. Massingburge died September 21, 2007, at a local care facility.

Born January 7, 1907, in Kilgore, she attended West Point schools and was a member of 
County Line Church of God. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Lee Giles and Dessie Mae 
Freeney. Visitation will be from noon-1 p.m. Saturday, prior to services, at the church.
