Obituaries

Alice Elenor McAllister

        Services for Alice McAllister, 84, of Longview, formerly of
Fairfield, Iowa, will be held in Fairfield at a later date. Arrangements
for cremation are by East Texas Funeral Home of Longview. 

        Mrs. McAllister was born March 22, 1918, in Washington County,
Iowa, to Arthur and Vera Anderson, the second of 14 children. She passed
away Jan. 4, 2003, in a local hospital. Mrs. McAllister was a homemaker
and worked in Tupperware sales. She was fondly known as "The Tupperware
Lady."

        Survivors include her sons, Max Richenberger and his wife, Pat,
of Bartlett, Tenn., and Steven Richenberger and his wife, Marilyn of
Longview; her brothers, Bill Anderson and Edward Anderson, both of
California; a sister, Marilyn Lukins of Washington; three grandchildren;
three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded
in death by spouses Max H. "Nick" Richenberger and John S. McAllister.

        Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran church in Fairfield,
Iowa.
