McKinney, Myrtie May Myrtie May McKinney joined her beloved husband of 54 years, Virgil McKinney, in heaven December 15, 2007. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2007, at Lakeview Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, December 17, 2007, at the funeral home. Myrt was born November 14, 1920, in Lyndon, Washington, to John and Grace Francisco. The Franciscos relocated to White Oak in 1930, where Myrt lived for the following 67 years. In 1937, she graduated with the second graduating class of White Oak High School. She attended the BMI Institute in Longview and Texas Women's University. She worked for the Civil Service in Washington, D.C., during World War II. She married Virgil on April 7, 1945. Together they raised four children in White Oak, where Myrt was a secretary for many years and then a full-time homemaker. She was known by everyone to be a loving, giving person who expected nothing in return. Myrt was well-loved by all friends and family. To her family she was known as "Memaw." Myrt was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her sister, Joy; and her granddaughter, Mary Jane. Myrt is survived by her sons, Ronnie and wife, Brenda, of Longview and Joe Mike and wife, Linda; daughters, Cathy Frazier and Cindy Hull, all of White Oak; grandchildren, Larry Jack Frazier, Kit McKinney, Ginger Berry, Brad McKinney, Jeff McKinney, Mendy Castiglione, Brett McKinney, Phillip Hull, Rachel Boudreaux and Kenneth Hull; great-grandchildren, "Sunshine" Castiglione, Drew Frazier, Antonio Castiglione, William Boudreaux, Kyle Berry, Khloe Berry, Gracie Boudreaux, Aiden Frazier, Austin A. Hull, Tanner McKinney, Austin T. Hull, Mallory McKinney, Hailey Hull, Tyson McKinney, Mason Hull and Carson McKinney; and sisters, Nora Lee Heyland and Florene Nixson.
