Mrs. J.W. MELTON, 80, died at 3 AM on Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gregg 
Morris, at Troup. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday in Troup.

Mrs. Melton was a former resident of Longview. She was the mother of Walter L. Melton 
of Longview, and the sister of S.C. Melton of Longview. She was well known here.
