Neilson, Rho Jessen 

KILGORE -- Memorial services for Rho Jessen Neilson, 77, of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. 
Friday, January 27, 2006, at the First Baptist Church, with Adam Brunson and the 
Reverend David Hampton officiating. Mrs. Neilson died Monday, January 23, 2006, in 
Longview, Texas. She was born March 14, 1928, in Primrose, Nebraska. Rho attended 
the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Her family lived in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, 
from 1950 until they moved to Kilgore in 1972. She owned and operated Rho's Hallmark 
in Kilgore for 28 years. Mrs. Neilson was a member of the First Baptist Church, the 
Phi Sigma Alpha Sorority, the Evergreen Garden Club, and the Republican Women. Mrs. 
Neilson is survived by her husband, Lowell "Butch" Neilson of Kilgore; a daughter and 
son-in-law, Karan and Tom Brunson of Leander, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, John 
and Twila Jessen of Pueblo, Colorado; a brother, Captain John W. Kinnier, U.S. Navy, 
ret., of Baltimore, Maryland; six grandchildren, Joshua Jessen, Matthew Jessen, Luke 
Jessen, Adam Brunson, Amy Brunson, and Jenny Almonte; six great-grandchildren; 
stepsons, Lowell, Richard, Robert, and Brian Neilson; and several nieces and nephews. 
Mrs. Neilson was preceded in death by her first husband, Lloyd "Jess" Jessen. Memorial
