Nix, Mellisa Ann   
	
JEFFERSON -- Mellisa Ann Nix died January 15, 2007. She 
was born October 20, 1945, to Charles Wright and Frances 
Still Hebron, formerly of Kilgore. Mellisa was a member 
of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson, a member of 
the Adult III Ladies Sunday School Class, a member of 
Jefferson Chapter No. 627 Order of the Eastern Star, and 
a former member of the 1933 Study Club. She was preceded 
in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, Buck Watson. 
Mellisa is survived by her husband, David; four children, 
Kahlan and Rick Alley of Longview, Clay and Ann 
Kumlangngam of Longview, John David Nix of Zachary, La., 
and Angie and Calvin Clouatre of Ethel, La.; five 
grandchildren, Arian and Gendhai of Whitefield, Maine, 
Bryce and Brenan of Longview, and Hannah of Zachary, La.; 
two sisters, Mary Watson of Kilgore, and Tonnie and Jim 
Roth of Angleton; and one brother, Sammie and Pat Hebron 
of Kilgore. She is further survived by other relatives 
and friends. Funeral services for Mellisa A. Nix will be 
held 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at the First 
Baptist Church in Jefferson, with the Rev. Charles Moore, 
pastor, and Brett Puckitt officiating. Graveside services 
will be held 2 p.m. in Danville Cemetery of Kilgore. 
Memorial contributions in her name may be sent to Heart'sWay 
Hospice, 1306 Pine Tree Rd., Longview, TX 75604; and Longview 
Community Ministries, 405 N. Fifth St., Longview, TX 75601. 
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. this evening, January 
16, 2007, at Haggard-Heaster Funeral Home, 203 E. Clarksville 
St., Jefferson, TX.
