Mr. Norman was born in Hickory, Oklahoma, to Benjamin Franklin and Darrell Fay Campbell Norman. He retired from Lawton, Oklahoma public schools after 31 years of teaching. Mr. Norman had been a resident of Longview since 1991, and he was a member of the Woodland Hills Baptist Church. He was married to Mary Jane Hicks on August 29, 1946, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Mr. Norman was a United States Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Norman is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Norman; a daughter, Janie Duncan; and a son, Terry Norman.
