Pitts, Vernon Paul 

DAINGERFIELD -- Graveside services for Vernon Paul Pitts, 66, of Lone Star, will 
be 10 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2006, at Lakeview Memorial Gardens of Longview, 
with the Rev. H.G. Hargrave officiating. Arrangements are by Nail-Haggard Funeral 
Home. Mr. Pitts was born February 25, 1940, in Lufkin, and he died September 18, 
2006, in Lone Star. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, member of Woodmen of the 
World, and Lone Star Steel retiree. Survivors include his wife, Dena Pitts; 
daughter, Paula Goss; and sister, Rosie Virginia Ramsey. Visitation will be 5-7 
p.m. today at the funeral home.
