Palmer Jr., Nathan

KILGORE - Services for Nathan Palmer Jr., of Kilgore, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 
13, 2007, at Mount Pleasant CME Church, with the Rev. Perfit Atkins and the Rev. Travis 
Stinson officiating. Burial will follow in Kilgore Memorial Garden. Arrangements are by 
Cunningham Funeral Home. Mr. Palmer died September 7, 2007, at a local medical center.

Born December 28, 1932, in Rusk County, he was a longtime employee of Tucker's Store and 
member of St. John Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Felicia Alexander Palmer; son, 
Nathan Jr. Palmer III; daughter, Dorris Ann Strong; and sister, Amy Jean Samples. Visitation 
will be from 7-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
