Paramore, Marlon Services for Marlon Paramore, 70, of Longview, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with the Reverend Leon Veazey officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Paramore passed away Thursday morning, May 24, 2007, at a local hospital after a brief illness. Marlon was born August 13, 1936, in Timpson, Texas, to Joseph and Willie Mae Paramore. After high school, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed his time in the service and especially when he served as an MP in the DMZ in Korea. He was a longtime member and deacon of Little Flock Baptist Church in Longview. He was loved deeply by many family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Murlene Lea. Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Lynda Paramore; son and daughter- in-law, Donald and Angela Paramore; daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and James Hodges, and Tammy and James Perritt; grandchildren, Kimberly Beall, Ross Perritt, James Hodges, David Hodges, Jordon Paramore, Joseph Perritt and Andrea Paramore; great-grandson, Canaan Beall; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Little Flock Baptist Church Building Fund, 14206 W. FM 968, Longview, TX 75602.
