Peace, R.D. "Bully"

Funeral services for R.D. "Bully" Peace, 81, of Longview, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, 
September 28, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, Longview, with Mr. Thomas 
Hogland officiating. Entombment will follow in Lakeview Mausoleum.

Mr. Peace died Thursday morning, September 20, 2007, at his residence after a lengthy 
illness.

He was born October 1, 1925, in Center, to J.B. and Mae Patterson Peace. Mr. Peace 
retired from Mobil Oil Pipeline as an assistant construction supervisor after 39 years 
of service. He was a member of the Greggton Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Yvonne; daughters, Carolyn Hearron and husband, 
Wayne of Longview, and Pam Ramsey and husband, Ed of White Oak; three grandsons, 
Justin Hearron and wife, Jennifer of Hallsville, Jeffrey Hearron and wife, Shannon of 
Diana, and Michael Hearron and Maria of Memphis; and two granddaughters, Megan Ramsey 
of White Oak, and Stephanie Ferrell and husband, Marshall of Austin. He is also 
survived by six great-grandchildren, Addyson Hearron, Makenzie Hearron, Madison Ferrell, 
Jacob Ferrell, Adrian Hearron and Conner Hearron.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. this evening, September 27, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
