Pearce, Nelda Holt   	

GLADEWATER - Services for Nelda Holt Pearce, 75, of Gladewater, will be held at 2 p.m. 
Saturday, August 4, 2007, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reverend Neal 
Thornburgh and the Reverend Chris Rodgers officiating. Burial will be in Friendship 
Cemetery.

Born September 16, 1931, in Sieper, Louisiana, she entered into eternal rest on Monday, 
July 30, 2007.

A 1950 graduate of Ouchita High School, she was a 1952 graduate of Louisiana Tech. She 
was a retired teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wood and Mammie McCoy; husband, John Paul 
Pearce; brother, Cedric McCoy; and sister, Marjorie Wood McCoy.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Kathy Pearce of Union 
Grove, John Pearce of Gladewater, and Alan and Penny Pearce of Rangely, Colorado; nine 
grandchildren, Allen Pearce, Elizabeth Pearce, Amy Wilson, Victoria Pearce, Christianne 
Pearce, Jacob Pearce, Joshua Pearce, Amanda Pearce Hartman and Nathan Pearce; seven 
great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Robert Quick, Richard Yazell, David Rodgers, Bob Barker, Jessie 
Walker and Charles Wilson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Miller and Mike Ogden.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening, August 3, 2007, at Croley 
Funeral Home in Gladewater.
