Pittinger, Thomas A. "Dusty"   	

Memorial services for Thomas A. "Dusty" Pittinger, 58, of Longview, will be at 1 p.m. 
Saturday, August 25, 2007, at the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with 
the Rev. Johnathan Jehorek officiating. Mr. Pittinger passed away on Tuesday, August 
21, 2007, at Good Shepherd Medical Center.

Mr. Pittinger was born January 4, 1949, in Kilgore, to Arthur Jess and Virginia Bierden 
Pittinger. He served in the United States Air Force, worked as a security officer, and 
was a firearms instructor. He played high school football and received a scholarship 
to continue his education at S.M.U. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He retired 
from Southwestern Bell Telephone.

Preceding Mr. Pittinger in death were his parents and grandparents.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, 
Matt and Brandi Pittinger of Longview; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and John Cotten 
of Longview; niece and spouse, Robin and Curtis Yoder of Longview; great nieces, Haleigh 
and Hannah Yoder, both of Longview; and nephew, Jace Cotten of Longview.

The family will receive friends at 6 p.m. this evening, August 24, 2007, at the funeral 
home.
