Phillips Sr., John Ed

GILMER - Graveside services for John Ed Phillips Sr., 75, of Gladewater, will be at 
10 a.m. today, October 26, 2007, at White Oak Cemetery, with Brother Douglas Lee 
officiating. Arrangements are by Turner Bros. Mortuary. Mr. Phillips died October 23, 
2007, in Gladewater.

Born November 22, 1931, in Blain, Miss., he was of a member of the Pentecostal church. 
Survivors include his wife, Janette Kay Allen Phillips; sons, John E. Phillips Jr., 
Allen E. Phillips and Johnny B. Phillips; daughters, Wanda Thompson and Virgie Minters; 
brothers, Hahn Phillips and Tony Phillips; and sisters, Rosie Murrow, Myrtle Phillips, 
Donna Phillips, Nola Parker and Mary F. Phillips.
