Masao William Rich - August 23, 2003

Graveside services for Masao William ‘Mike’ Rich, 54, Kilgore will be 10 a.m., 
Monday, Aug. 25, at Hickory Grove Cemetery, near Kilgore, with Larry Wilkins 
officiating, under direction of Cottle-Pearson Funeral Home, Overton.

Mr. Rich died Friday, Aug. 22, in Kilgore. He was born May 3, 1949, in Kyoto, 
Japan and moved to the United States in 1959.

A former resident of Marshall, he had been a resident of Kilgore for the past 
15 years. Mr. Rich graduated from high school in Logansport, La. and attended 
Panola Junior College in Carthage. He was an insurance agent for Washington 
National Insurance from 1971 until 1987 and had worked as the night auditor 
for the Ramada Inn for the past 15 years. Mr. Rich was a Pentecostal.

He married December 28,1971, in Marshall.
