Roberts, Ann Pliler

Funeral services for Ann Pliler Roberts, 84, of Longview, will 
be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, at the First 
Christian Church, with the Dr. Richard Emerson and the Reverend 
David Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Grace Hill 
Cemetery, under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
She passed away on Thursday morning, February 14, 2008, at a 
medical center in Longview.

Mrs. Roberts was born January 14, 1924, in Longview, to Bonnie 
and Effie Pliler and had been a lifetime resident of Longview. 
For more than 25 years, she was a volunteer for the Good 
Shepherd Medical Center Auxiliary. She was a homemaker and a 
very active member of the First Christian Church where she was 
a member of the Cornerstone Sunday School Class.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 63 
years, R.L. "Rusty" Roberts; her children, Jim Roberts and wife, 
Mary Jo, and Sheri Roling and husband, Tony, all of Longview; 
grandchildren, Laura SuAnne Toney and husband, Craig, Scott 
Roberts and wife, Mandy, Sonya Wells and husband, Randy, Amy 
Nelson and husband, Neil, and Casey Roling and wife,Amanda; 10 
great-grandchildren; special friend, Florence Hendrix of Houston; 
and a host of friends and other family members.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, 
Building Fund, 720 N. Sixth. St., Longview, TX 75601; or to a 
favorite charity.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, February 15, 2008, 
at the funeral home.
