Scarborough, Patty LaRue Cauthen GLADEWATER -- Graveside services for Patty LaRue Cauthen Scarborough, 52, of Carthage, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, October 8, 2006, at Rock Springs Cemetery in Gladewater, with Dr. Marc Williamson officiating. Born March 9, 1954, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, she entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 5, 2006. A 1972 graduate of Gladewater High School, she was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Gary, Texas. A wonderful, caring grandmother, she especially enjoyed quality time spent taking care of her two precious grandchildren. Mrs. Scarborough was preceded in death by her grandson, Jack Patrick Richter. She is survived by her husband, Danny Scarborough of Carthage; daughter and son-in-law, Jodie and Craig Richter of Carthage; son, Kenny Word of New Orleans, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Heather Grace Richter and Avery Mae Richter; parents, Kenneth and Dortha Cauthen of Gladewater; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Kim and Anthony Bradburry of Gladewater, and Kathy and Paul Dougan of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four nephews, Jacob and Josh Bradburry, and Derek and Dustin Dougan; numerous cousins; and extended family.
