Scurrah, Harold "Scuzzy" A memorial service for Harold "Bud" "Scuzzy" Scurrah, 57, of Longview, will be held 2 p.m. Friday, February 3, 2006, at East Texas Funeral Home of Longview, with the Rev. Larry "C.C." Gower officiating. Mr. Scurrah was born August 10, 1948, in Pekin, Illinois, to Harold Frederick Scurrah and Sadie "Rickie" Boothe Scurrah. He was a service manager for a floor care company in Longview. He was always willing to go above and beyond for his children. Mr. Scurrah was also a proud member of the B.B.F. Club, which was a special club between him and his only son, Harley. To anyone and everyone, he always had a smile on his face and gave the best hugs. Aside from his family, his motorcycle was his most prized possession. He will be greatly missed by his wife and children. Survivors include his wife, Patsy "Sam" Scurrah of Longview; son, Harley Scurrah, and daughter, Hayley Scurrah, both of Longview; and sister, Lydia Vinovich of Peoria, Illinois. Mr. Scurrah was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Scurrah; and his parents. Published in the Longview News-Journal on 2/1/2006.
