Smith, Charles "Smitty"
   	
Charles "Smitty" Smith, 59, of Beaumont, formerly of Longview, passed away 
on October 17, 2006, at The Clairmont in Beaumont. Funeral services will be 
2 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006, at Mount Calvary Baptist Church at 1105 
El Paso in Longview. Burial will follow in Jordan Valley Cemetery of Longview, 
under the direction of Comeaux-Community Funeral Chapels, Inc. of Beaumont. 
Survivors include his mother, Annie Faye Smith of Beaumont; brother, Billy 
Smith Sr. and wife, Sharon, of Beaumont; niece, DeAndrea Smith, and nephew, 
Billy Smith Jr., both of Beaumont; uncle, Lodest Smith of Blue Springs, Mo.; 
two aunts, Anita Everette of Tacoma, Wash., and Myrtle Hunter of Dallas; two 
special cousins, Willie Mae Pickett of Longview, and Johnnie Faye Pryor of 
Tyler; and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from noon-2 
p.m., Saturday, prior to services, at the church.
