Smith, Debbie Services for Debbie Smith, 46, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006, in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with Dr. Hal Brunson officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Smith passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at a local medical center. Mrs. Smith was born March 1, 1960, in Corpus Christi, to John E. and Jeanette Gibson Wolfe. Coming to Longview from Alice, Texas, she had been a resident for 19 years. She enjoyed collecting angels and water fountains. She worked at ABC Auto Parts for 4.5 years. Mrs. Smith was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her father, John Wolfe; and father-in-law, Grover E. Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Edward Smith of Longview; sons and daughter-in-law, Grover E. and Jenni M. Smith, and Johnathan M. Smith, both of Longview; grandson, Garrett M. Smith of Longview; mother, Jeanette Wolfe of Carthage; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Lori Wolfe of Carthage; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Gary Springs of New Mexico; mother-in-law, Vina Marie Hoffman of Seneca, Missouri; and numerous uncles, aunts nieces, nephews, and cousins.
