Spong, Wilfred Andrew

Memorial services for Wilfred Spong, 87, of Kilgore, will be 
2 p.m. today, December 28, 2006, at Union Grove Baptist Church, 
with the Rev. Brian Zappa officiating. Cremation arrangements 
are by East Texas Funeral Home. Mr. Spong was born November 17, 
1919, in Hutto, and he died December 25, 2006, at a local nursing 
facility. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during 
World War II. Survivors include his son, Merrill Spong; and 
daughter, Pam Hogue.
