Spyhalski, Leonard L. Services for Leonard L. Spyhalski, of Longview, will be Monday, April 24, 2006, at St. Matthew's Catholic Church, with Monsignor Xavier Pappu officiating. Rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m., followed by mass at 6 p.m. Visitation will follow. Mr. Spyhalski died Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at his home. Born March 31, 1931, in Sobieski, Wisconsin, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1948, and served aboard the U.S.S. Algol in the Mediterranean. He married his high school sweetheart, Pat Golonka on September 2, 1950. He and his family moved to Longview in 1974. Upon retiring from his career as a machinist, he joined his sons in Spy Brothers Pool Company for 10 years. Mr. Spyhalski was a member of St. Matthew's Church, a 3rd Degree member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 2771 and a 4th Degree member of Bishop Charles E. Herzig Assembly No. 1103. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; four brothers; and his daughter, Janet Lynne Spyhalski in 1980. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Pat Spyhalski; two sons, Steve and wife, Gorgeen, of Longview, and Rick and wife, Ruth, of Kilgore; one daughter, Judie Moffett of Longview; seven grandchildren, Matt, Mark, Michelle, Marcia, Michael and Kyle Spyhalski, and S.
