Suver, Esther Evelyn Services for Esther Evelyn Suver, 83, of Longview, will be noon Saturday, April 1, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, with Dr. Jim Lewis and Jeffrey Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Memory Land Cemetery of Greenville. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Ms. Suver passed away Wednesday morning, March 29, 2006, at a local nursing home. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - noon, Saturday, prior to services. Ms. Suver was born March 30, 1922, in St. Louis, Mo., to Clarence and Gertrude Haenni. After high school, she received her certification and worked for many years as a dental assistant. She was very accomplished in needlework, winning numerous awards at the Texas State Fair. She was also a member of the First Christian Church. Ms. Suver had been in the Longview area since 1998, moving here from Mt. Pleasant. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Barbara and Suzanne; and one brother, Walter Haenni. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon and William Baillif of Hutchinson, Minn., and Jeannine and Wayne Smith of Longview; grandchildren, Tammy and Steve Mace, Chelsea and Dan Kroll, Jeff Newberry, Gene and Nikki Baillif, and Brian and Sarah Baillif; six great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Dr. John Ellis of Mt. Pleasant; uncle, Edward Haenni of Sanibel, Fla.; two cousins; and a host of nieces and nephews.
