Born July 1, 1924, in Rusk, she was a coordinator for Rusk Hospital and its mental health clinics. Survivors include her son, Charles Clark; and daughters, Mary Clark-Minton and Katherine Clark Meng. Mrs. Smith went to be with her Lord on Monday July 16, 2007, at a medical center in Longview. Mrs. Smith was born July 1, 1924, in Rusk, to James L. and Viola Manning Bagley, who preceded her in death. She was a coordinator for Rusk Hospital and their mental health clinics. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Jo Clark of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Mary Clark-Minton and Dale of Jacksonville; daughter and son-in-law, Katherine Clark Meng and Mark of Coldspring; grandchildren, Chad and Shane Clark of Naples, Trudi and Stacy Steen of Mount Pleasant, Lisa and Neal Martin of Hallsville, Mike (Jr.) and Tammy Hanson of Center, Keith and Staci Hanson of Sulphur, La., Cody and Alexa Hanson of Sulphur, La., and Malina Meng and Alex Meng of Coldspring; great-grandchildren, Collin Clark, Taylor Clark, Cory Grozes, Cade Clark, Sydni Steen, Peyton Steen, Noah Martin, Macey Hanson, Jake Hanson, Tyler Hanson, Colton Hanson, Brantley Hanson and Taylor and Christopher Chandler; sister, Mary Crawford of Longview; and several nephews and nieces.
