Mr. Scott will be laid to rest next to his loving wife, Dorothy, in Memory Park. Mr. Scott passed away on October 30, 2007, at his home. Robert was born in 1923, to Mildred and Robert Scott of East Liverpool, Ohio. He graduated from East Liverpool High School and was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. A dedicated Lone Star Steel employee, he worked in the rolling mill for more than 35 years. Preceding Mr. Scott in death were his parents, Mildred and Robert Scott; his wife, Dorothy Scott; his sister, Jean Wood; and his brother, Richard Scott. A loving, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Mr. Scott leaves behind a daughter, Linda Rich and husband, Jim; a son, Robert Evan Scott Jr. and wife, Annette; and a sister, Margaret Oyster and husband, David. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jimmy Rich and wife, Holli, Scott Rich, David Rich and Robin Scott; as well as great-grandchildren, Dorothy Rich, Kristin Dickerman, and Anna, Caroline, and Trey Rich. He is also survived by his special friends and neighbors, Virginia Burt and Christy Hunter. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Woodall, Bob Sullivan, Dave Oyster, Chic O'Connor, Brock McAlister and Vince Fowler.
