Steelman, Doris J. 
  	 
Doris J. Steelman, 88, of Gilmer, went to be with Jesus June 15, 2007, 
in Longview. She was born May 3, 1919, to Arthur C. and Lavada Miller 
Steelman in Cooper, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the 
United Pentecostal Church in Kilgore. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Hank" Steelman, and 
a grandson, Steven Labeff. 

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Kay Brasher and her 
husband, Hershal, of Gilmer; two sons, Troy Steelman and his wife, 
Shirley, of Kilgore and Larry Steelman; six grandchildren, Kendall 
Steelman, Craig Steelman, Tommy LaBeff, Shelley Brasher, Bobby 
Steelman and Eric Steelman; seven great-grandchildren; and a beloved 
longtime friend and caretaker Bobbie Yoeman. 

Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 18, 2007, at the chapel of 
Lakeview Funeral Home with the Rev. James Boatman officiating. 
Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

Quincella with At Home Health Care, and Southern Care Hospice.
