Suddeth, Ernest "Roy" Ernest "Roy" Suddeth, 70, of Longview, returned to the arms of his Lord on Monday, June 25, 2007. He was born July 28, 1936, in Paris, Texas, to Ernest and Faye Sudduth. Roy graduated from Tyler High School in 1954 and proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He later worked in the vending industry and in retail sales at Dillard's. He loved fishing and watching his grandsons' sporting events. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Gladys Hicklen; and daughter, Denise Kelly. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Byron Suddeth of Longview, Jeff Suddeth and wife, Lorrie of Longview, and Scott Spears of Oklahoma; daughter, Suzy Suddeth of Longview; grandsons, Stuart and Michael Scott Suddeth; brothers, Wayne and Doye Sudduth of Tyler; sister, Beth Wills of Mount Pleasant; and one very special friend, Lue "Rusty" Cross. Roy will also be missed by a host of nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28, 2007, at the chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Hallsville, Youth Fund, P.O.
