CEMETERY OR CREMATION - GREGG COUNTY


Polly Ann Robinson Schrimsher, 86, of Longview, passed away on December 9, 2014 at a local hospital. 

She was born November 4, 1928 in Alba, TX to Basil and Gertrude Robinson. She married Barney Gibbs Schrimsher in November of 1946. She worked in and out of the home throughout her life, between taking care of her children and her husband for sixteen years at Kroger in Longview and later for six years at the Dollar General until she had to go home and take care of herself, and when she had some spare time, she enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

She is survived by her son: Barney Schrimsher and his wife Martha of Holly Lake Ranch; son: Robert Schrimsher of Longview; daughter: Barbara Garcia of Mesquite; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two cousins and one aunt. 

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one brother: C.J. Robinson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Chapel of Lakeview Funeral Home with a time of visitation with the family from 1 p.m. until service time.
