Sjoblom, Robert Herman Robert Herman Sjoblom, 84, of Longview, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2007. He was preceded in death by Muriel, his wife of 58 years, who passed away in September 2001. He is survived by his daughters, Phyllis Nutzman of Longview, Sharon Hunt and her husband, Leigh, of White Oak and Carolyn Baxter and her husband, Sam, of Longview; sons, Mark Sjoblom and his wife, Cheryl, of Longview and Bill Sjoblom and his wife, Lindsay, of Columbus, Ohio. Bob was blessed with 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Bob and Muriel spent most of their lives serving God in Southeast Asia. Bob's lifelong passion was to put Christian literature in the hands of ordinary people. He pursued that passion through publication and distribution of literature in China, Thailand, the Philippines and Hong Kong. The legacy they have left their family is one of faithfulness and service. A memorial celebration will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, at Hope Fellowship Church. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Hope Fellowship Church, 300 Hollybrook, Longview, TX 75605.
