GILMER -- Services for Reefer E. Trest Jr., 78, of White Oak, 
will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at Grubbs-Loyd 
Funeral Home Chapel of Gilmer, with Bishop Ken Menges 
officiating. Interment will be in Kelsey Cemetery. Mr. Trest 
died January 6, 2007, in Longview. Born January 12, 1928, in 
Houston, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, and retired from 
Southwester Bell Telephone Co. Survivors include his son, 
David Earl Trest; and daughter, Joyce McNew. Visitation will 
be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, prior to services, at the funeral home.
