Tutt, Mary Jane Toon 


Funeral services for Mary Jane Toon Tutt, 76, of Longview, are scheduled for 3 p.m. 
Thursday, March 23, 2006, at Longview Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Tutt passed 
away Sunday, March 19, 2006, at her home. Mrs. Tutt was born September 6, 1929, in 
Henderson, to John Harvey and Clara Mae Edge Toon. She was a member of Longview 
Missionary Baptist Church. She loved sewing, quilting, crocheting, cooking, and 
especially valued her time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Tutt was a beautician and 
worked for K. Woolens and Perry Brothers. She was preceded in death by her son, 
George Michael Tutt; her parents; a sister, Mavis Sullivan; and a brother, Billy 
Toon. Surviving Mrs. Tutt are her loving husband, Leon Tutt of Longview; son, Ray 
Tutt of Longview; grandson and spouse, Jon Michael and Kim Tutt of California; 
granddaughter, Cameron Tutt of Longview; grandson, Will Tutt of Longview; 
great-granddaughters, Alyssa Tutt and Emilee Tutt, both of California; sisters, 
Blanche Wafford of Dallas, Byrul Carver of Longview, and Nadine Schwab of Dallas; 
and a number of nieces and nephews. The family requests memorials be made to Pine 
Tree Home Health Care, 1125 Judson Road, Longview, TX 75601. The family will receive 
friends 6 p.m. Wednesday evening, March 22, 2006, at the funeral home. An online
