Tarnawa, Ollie Marie KILGORE -- Services for Ollie Marie Tarnawa, 84, of Kilgore, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2007, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Kilgore with the Rev. Jack Broadwater officiating. Mrs. Tarnawa, who had been ill for several years, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007, in Kilgore, Texas. Interment will follow at the Kilgore City Cemetery. Mrs. Tarnawa was born September 14, 1922, in Rusk County, Texas, to A. C. and Georgia Alice McGraw, deceased. She was married to Edward W. Tarnawa, who preceded her in death. Mr. and Mrs. Tarnawa had two children, and she worked in the home providing the warmth and comfort only a loving mother and wife can provide. She loved to cook and took great delight in her family. She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church. Her son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie Edward and Mary Linda Tarnawa of Longview; a brother and sister-in-law, A.L. and Mary Louise McGraw of Kilgore; two sisters, Thelma Watson and Maureen Broadwater of Kilgore; four grandchildren, Edward Tarnawa of San Antonio, Julie Quarles of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Tammy Copple of Fort Worth and Melissa Carlson of Spring; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins survive her. Mrs. Tarnawa was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Teri Lynn Tarnawa; and two sisters. The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 Tuesday, January 16, 2007.
