Thompson, John "Shorty"

GLADEWATER - Services for John "Shorty" Thompson 78, of Longview, will 
be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2007, at Mount Gideon Baptist Church 
in Longview. Burial will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens of Longview. 
Arrangements are by Dearion & Davis Funeral Parlor.

Mr. Thompson was born August 12, 1928, in Ruston, La., and he died 
April 13, 2007, at his residence. Survivors include his wife, Joyce 
Thompson; daughters, Daphne Moore, Konstanza Johnson, Sandra Smith, 
Erica Thompson and Marie Smith; sons, Kenneth Thompson, Darion Thompson, 
Carlos Thompson, Johnny Thompson, Charles Thompson, Donald Thompson and 
Scottie Washington.
