Trader, LaVerna Nadine "Lea"   	

BURLINGTON, Kan. - LaVerna Nadine "Lea" Trader died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, 
after a short stay at Longview Regional Medical Center and Clairmont Express 
Recovery in Longview, Texas.

Mrs. Trader was born April 21, 1919, in Halls Summit, Kansas, to Bertie Pearl 
Thomas Yates and Leonard Albert Yates Sr.

Mrs. Trader was a member of the First Christian Church in Burlington, Kansas. 
She helped celebrate with her Lord at the White Oak Christian Church in 
Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, beloved 
grandmother and friend to all. She was a gardener, cook, loved music and loved 
to camp with her family. She traveled extensively with her family. She was 
active in PTA, schooling and sports activities.

In 1973, Lea and Murell adopted their beloved children, Jerry Wayne Trader, 
Edith T. Trader Kuchera and Charles Edward Trader.

Mrs. Trader was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Murell E. Trader; 
her parents; her brother, Leonard A. Yates Jr.; a nephew; and a grand-nephew.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Wayne Trader and wife, Marie, Charles E. 
Trader and Donna Ross, Edith Kuchera and husband, Rick; grandsons, Nicholas 
Kuchera and Justin Kuchera; granddaughter, Crystal Kuchera; and great-grandson, 
Terri Lee, all living in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is survived by her sisters, 
Dolorus Nethercot of Cleveland, Oklahoma, Leona A. Knachel of Helena, Montana, 
Nancy Stewart and husband, James of Yakima, Washington, and Lois Ann Dulaney of 
Longview, Texas; and her brother, Larry Allan Yates and wife, Margaret of 
Wichita, Kansas. She is survived by her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law of 
Cincinnati, Ohio; her nieces and nephews; and her many friends.

Burial will be in Burlington, Kansas, where she will rest beside her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to The 
First Christian Church, 720 N. Sixth, Longview, TX 75601; Diabetes of America; 
or Millie's Ministries, 315 Eden Dr., No. 41, Longview, TX 75605.
