Turman, Reagan "Buddy"

TYLER - Services for Reagan "Buddy" Turman, 73, of Longview, formerly 
of Tyler, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Noonday 
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerry Hawbaker officiating. Arrangements 
are by Lloyd James Funeral Home. Mr. Turman died April 1, 2007, in 
Longview.

Born April 12, 1933, in Noonday, he was a notable boxing contender, an 
independent landman and a member of Noonday Baptist Church. Survivors 
include his daughter, Tanya Saidi; sister, Gayle Smith; and brothers, 
Dan Turman, Gene Turman, Larry Turman and Joe Turman. Visitation will 
be from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, prior to services, at the church.
