Voight, Walter William   	

Walter William Voight, 63, of Longview, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 
2007, at his residence. His body was donated to L.S.U. Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at the 
Community Room of AAA Mobile Home Park on Highway 149, with Dr. Gary Orr 
officiating.

Mr. Voight was born November 3, 1943, in Manhattan, New York, to Walter 
Henry and Beatrice Childress Voight. He was a United States veteran, 
having served in the U.S. Army 101st Airborne Infantry. He was a Baptist.

Preceding Mr. Voight in death was the mother of his children, Lizzie 
Voight.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Voight of Longview; children and 
spouses, Elizabeth and Charles Hitt, Timothy and Trinda Voight, Angela 
and Mark Mayfield and Chris and Melissa Voight, all of Diana; four 
stepchildren; numerous grandchildren; and sister, Mary Smith of 
Louisiana.
