Walker Sr., James 

KILGORE -- Graveside services for James Walker, 79, of Kilgore, will be 10 a.m. 
Monday, July 10, 2006, at Rocksprings Cemetery in Liberty City, with the Rev. 
Bruce Wells officiating. Mr. Walker died July 7, 2006, in Longview. Born July 
29, 1926, in Young, he served our country during World War II, worked in the 
East Texas oil field, was a welder for LeTourneau until his retirement and 
enjoyed spending time with his many friends and family. Survivors include his 
daughter, Delores Crisp; son, James Walker Jr.; brothers, W.P., Franklin, W.C. 
"Bill", Jake and Vernon Walker; and sisters, Fay Stevenson and Leatrice Callaway. 
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today, July 9, 2006, at the funeral home. Please
