Wallis, Claud L. 
  	
Claud L. Wallis, 102, of Kilgore, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006. He was 
born December 14, 1903, in Coal Hill, Arkansas, to Jim and Nancy Wallis. 
Claud moved to Texas in 1925 and had been a Kilgore resident since 1945. 
He was a longtime resident of the Gregg Home for the Aged in Kilgore, and 
he loved to garden. Claud was a member of the Chandler Street Church of 
Christ. Those left to cherish his memory are: cousin, Betty Wallis and her 
children, Orbie Wallis and family, and Lynn Wallis; and niece, Ulene 
Carpenter of Ventura, Calif. Claud will also be missed by his church family 
and his many friends at the Gregg Home. Services will be held 11 a.m. 
Saturday, October 14, 2006, in the mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. 
There is no scheduled visitation.
