Watson, Richard Buck KILGORE -- Services for Richard Buck Watson, 70, of Kilgore, will be 4 p.m. Monday, May 8, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harry LaGrone and the Rev. O.D. Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Cemetery. Mr. Watson died Thursday, May 4, 2006 in Kilgore. He was born June 16, 1935, in Price, Texas. Mr. Watson attended Danville School. He went to work in the oilfield at an early age. Mr. Watson worked for Ellerd Truck Lines before working at Dowell/Schlumberger. After his retirement, he worked for Lebus Oilfield Services. Mr. Watson was a family man who loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was known in the community as a man of integrity. Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Mary Watson of Kilgore; two sons and daughters-in-law, Buck and Vicki Watson of Kilgore, and Shannon and Rhonda Watson of Overton; one daughter and son-in-law, Windy and Dan Wilson of Kilgore; two sisters, Bobbie Burton of Elderville, and Billie Jean Greene of Portland, Texas; four grandchildren, Colby Watson of Overton, Arica Watson of Whitehouse, Carly Watson of Whitehouse, and Reese Watson of Overton; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home today, May 7, 2006, between 4-6 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands of Kilgore or the charity of choice.
