Whatley, Kerry Waymon Services for Kerry Waymon Whatley, 58, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2006, at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Lindwall officiating. Burial will follow at 4:30 p.m. in Kildare Cemetery in Linden, Texas. Mr. Whatley passed away Friday night at his home. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today, April 30, 2006, at the funeral home. Mr. Whatley was born June 4, 1947, in Linden, Texas, to Marvin and Alice Whatley. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Kerry attended the First United Methodist Church and was a member of the Genesis Sunday school class. Mr. Whatley was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 22 years, Lynn Whatley. He is survived by his wife, Sharon L. Whatley of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa and Jay Johnson of Glenville, W.Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Stacia Whatley of Dawsonville, Ga.; stepson, Matt Friel and Laura Helms of Laramie, Wyo.; grandchildren, Jaylin and Jaycie Johnson, Payton Whatley and Ethan Helms; brother and sister-in-law, Billy Rodney and Marian Whatley of Jefferson, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
