Wilcox, Ruby B. 


A celebration of life for Ruby B. Wilcox, 97, of Kilgore, was held at 11 a.m., on 
Saturday, April 8, 2005, at the mausoleum at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. She passed 
from death unto life on Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at a Kilgore care center. Ruby was 
born in Corsicana on December 25, 1908. She was a retired Pentecostal minister and 
the youngest of nine children. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her eight 
siblings; husband, Frankie N. Wilcox; and son-in-law, Clarence A. Roberts. She will 
be dearly missed by daughter, R. Nathine Roberts; grandchildren, Sandra Davis, 
Janice Williams, Stephen Roberts, Mark Roberts and Sheryl Rogener; 17 
great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. Lakeview Funeral Home in 
Longview handled the arrangements.
