Williams, Temple Ubanks Funeral services for Temple Ubanks Williams, 78, of Longview, will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, with Father Mike Maxwell and the Reverend Richard Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Mr. Williams died Sunday, May 7, 2006, at Promise Specialty Hospital in Shreveport, La. Temple was born January 23, 1928, in Stockman, to Walter M. and Willie Ada Muckleroy Williams. He was employed for many years by LeTourneau Inc., where he was an engineer, and by Baker Marine. He was currently working for Williams Construction. Mr. Williams served his country from 1946-1947 in the United States Navy. Temple was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Ann Williams, with whom he would have been married 58 years in June; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Becky Williams of Longview, and Gregg and Carolyn Williams of Longview; grandchildren, Bobby and Julie Williams of Temple, Tim and Nicole Read of Longview, Jeffrey G. Williams of Longview, and Andy Williams of Longview; and great-granddaughters, Ryane Nicole Read, and twins, Jessika and Kristin Williams. He is also survived by three brothers and two sisters. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staffs of Longview Regional Medical Center of Longview and Promise Specialty Hospital of Shreveport, La.
