Williams, Verna

Funeral services for Verna Williams, 95, of Longview, will be 10 a.m. Monday, 
October 2, 2006, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Scott Schulik 
officiating. Interment will follow in Kilgore City Cemetery in Kilgore. The 
family will greet friends at Rader Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. today. Mrs. 
Williams went to be with her Lord Friday morning from a local nursing center. 
A native of Lynnville, La., she had lived in the Longview area since 1931. 
She was a salesperson for several area retail stores and also was a private 
duty nurse. She was a member of Mobberly Baptist Church. She is survived by 
her sons, Bob Williams and wife, Jeannette, of Sugarland, and Jack H. 
Williams and wife, Hilda, of Longview; five grandchildren; and nine
