Withem Jr., W.C. "Bill" 

KILGORE -- Graveside services for Bill Withem Jr., 66, of Kilgore, will be 
held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006, at the Danville Cemetery, with Mr. 
Mark Auran officiating. Mr. Withem passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2006, 
at Hospice Home Place in Tyler. Mr. Withem was born June 10, 1940, in 
Ashdown, Arkansas, the son of Will Carl Withem Sr. and Bertha Lea Withem, 
who preceded him in death. He worked as a supervisor for GTE, retiring in 
1993. Mr. Withem served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. 
Withem was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Shirley Surber. He 
leaves behind his beloved wife, Mary Jo Withem of Kilgore; his son, Tom and 
wife, Lesa, and their three children, Cole, Sarah, and Sean; step-children, 
Clint Cash, Tony Combs and his wife, Sally, Shon Carroll and husband, Bruce, 
and Shannon Maher and husband, Patrick; and eight step grandchildren. Mr. 
Withem had many friends and was very much loved. He will be greatly missed.
