Wright, Eunice I. 


Eunice "Granny" Wright went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at a 
local medical center. Granny was born January 14, 1912, to James Benjamin "Bauch" 
and Emma Walker Owens. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006, in the Welch 
Funeral Home Chapel, 4619 Judson Road, with Brother Ben Clayton and Brother Tommy 
Brasher officiating. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie 
Winston "Britt" Wright; her parents; five brothers; and five sisters. Left to 
cherish her memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Richard Pope of Ore 
City; son, Loy Wright of Slidell, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Harold and 
Sandra Wright of Longview; special nephew, Robert Owens of White Oak; and special 
granddaughter, Pat Havner, also of White Oak; 12 grandchildren; 28 
great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; 
and many friends. A very special "thank you" to the staffs of The Clairmont and 
Good Shepherd Medical Center. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. this evening, June
