Weatherly, Kent Graveside services for Kent Weatherly, 77, of Longview, formerly of Irving, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2007, at Pyle Prairie Cemetery in Kaufman, with Brother Dennis Abernathy officiating. Arrangements are by Welch Funeral Home at 4619 Judson Road. Mr. Weatherly died February 15, 2007, at a local care center. Born November 11, 1929, in Irving, he was a U.S. Navy veteran, Clark forklift salesman and member of White Oak Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Laura Weatherly; children, Pamela Davis, Deborah Lang, Tom Weatherly and Susan Weatherly; and sister, Sally Hebisen. Mr. Weatherly passed away Thursday night, February 15, 2007, at a local nursing home. Mr. Weatherly was born November 11, 1929, in Irving, Texas, to Andrew C. and Esther Bell Weatherly. He was a Clark forklift salesman and a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a longtime resident of Longview, coming from Irving. Mr. Weatherly was a member of the White Oak Church of Christ and the Longview Baseball Association. Mr. Weatherly is survived by his wife, Laura Weatherly of Longview; children, Pamela Davis and husband, Jim, of Florida, Deborah Lang and husband, Johnny, of Longview; Tom Weatherly and wife, Antoinette, of New Orleans, Louisiana and Susan Weatherly of Longview; seven grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sally Hebisen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
