Wells, Lorine

Funeral services for Lorine Wells, 84, of Longview, will be 
held at noon Monday, March 12, 2007, in the chapel of Rader 
Funeral Home of Longview ,with the Reverend Scott Schulik 
officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

She passed away Friday, March 9, 2007, in Longview.

Mrs. Wells was born March 21, 1922, in Linden, to Grover and 
Pearl Ard, and she had been a resident of Longview since 1947, 
moving from Mount Pleasant. She was a homemaker and a member 
of Mobberly Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her twin sister, 
Aline Maxton; and her brother, James Clifton Ard.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 59 
years, Lloyd Wells of Longview; daughter and son-in-law, Diane 
and Lowell Caneday of Stillwater, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, 
Randy and April Wells of Henderson; grandchildren, Sarah and 
Rachel Wells of Henderson, Kristen Turley and husband, Pete of 
Tulsa, Okla., and Nathan Caneday and wife, Molly of Keller; 
brother-in-law, Billy Maxton of Mount Pleasant; sister-in-law, 
Winona Shelton of Longview; and several nieces, nephews and other 
relatives.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LifeCare 
Hospice, 1809 Gilmer Rd., Longview, TX 75604.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007, at the 
funeral home.
