West, Harold W. 
  	
Harold W. West, 91, of Longview, passed away Tuesday, December 
5, 2006. He was born November 24, 1915, in Pecan Gap, Texas, 
to James Wood and Nettie Tarpley West. He retired from SWEPCO 
as a manager after 40 years of service, was a member of the 
Linden Lions Club, Linden Chamber of Commerce, Jefferson Rotary 
Club, and Marion County Chamber of Commerce. He was also a member 
of Greggton First Baptist Church. Mr. West was preceded in death 
by his wife, Ruth in 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Jane 
West Hollingsworth and her husband, Max of Longview; two 
granddaughters, Jana Roddy of Jacksonville, Arkansas, and Linda 
Gruenwald and her husband, Bill of Tyler; and seven 
great-grandchildren, Melissa Clanton, James Roddy and Danielle, 
Miriam, Stephen, Rhema and Joseph Gruewald. Services will be 
held 10 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006, at the Greggton First 
Baptist Church, with the Rev. Bobby Moore officiating. Burial 
will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions 
may be made to the Greggton First Baptist Church, 4520 W. 
Marshall Ave., Longview, TX 75604. The family will receive friends 
from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday evening, December 6, 2006, at the funeral
