White, Velma L.   	

Services for Velma L. White will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007, 
at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Keven D. Johnson 
officiating, and the Rev. Horace Williams eulogizing. Interment will 
follow in Grace Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Craig Funeral Home.

Born in 1907, in Harrison County, Mrs. White graduated from Wiley College 
and was also a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Mrs. White was the widow 
of I.S. White. After teaching in Harrison and Gregg counties, she was 
best known as the church organist and choir director at Bethel Baptist 
Church for more than 30 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Agnes Sue White-Lione; and nieces and 
nephews, Joyce Horton Williams, Patsy Scott Franklin and Dwayne Bullock.
