Windom Jr., Homer Wesley

HENDERSON - Services for Homer Wesley Windom Jr., 75, of Longview, 
formerly of Henderson, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2007, 
at Wesley Chapel CME Church, with the Rev. Chester Bowens, 
Evangelist Dorothy Wright and the Rev. Darlene Shackleford 
officiating. Burial will be in Henderson City Cemetery. 
Arrangements are by Southern Funeral Home. Mr. Windom died May 17, 
2007, in Longview.

Born May 16, 1932, in Henderson, he was a U.S. Army veteran, 
retired office manager, and member of Wesley Chapel CME Church. 
Survivors include his sons, Chester Whitaker and Wesley Windom; 
and daughters, Shelia Windom, Shelia Lyons, Gina Herbert and Grace 
Windom. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
